The aim of the SIDFOOT project is to promote physical activity and social inclusion in disconnected neighbourhoods through sport. Community drivers play a key role in the SIDFOOT methodology.
The community drivers act as role models and motivate children and youth, from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, to move, play and adapt to a healthier lifestyle. These agents of change will be educated and supported by the project while creating safe spaces in the community and building relationships with children and youth. Sustainable project delivery will be ensured by continuous monitoring and evaluation and close collaboration with public authorities, educational institutions and sports organisations.
